A MARTIN NIEVERA FREEBEE ON THE NET!
THE SCROOGES and Grinches of the world will not like this bit of news,
but all children definitely will: Can't stop Christmas. In fact,
the Christmas season officially started yesterday when INQ7.net
introduced Martin Nievera's song "Can't Stop Christmas" as a special
online feature of its Christmas site, Paskong Pinoy.

"One of the freebies on the site is that you can now download Martin Nievera's
song," said Dennis Valdes, an INQ7.net board director. A link on the Christmas
portal directs the user to Nievera's "Can't Stop Christmas" page that contains
the lyrics of the song and an MP3 download of the song.

BACK WITH A CHART: Olivia Newton-John has her first charting album of the
21st century, as "Magic: The Very Best of Olivia Newton-John" (UTV) enters
The Billboard 200 at No. 150. It's the first Newton-John album to chart
since her Nashville-recorded "Back With a Heart" peaked at No. 59 in May 1998.

This new "Magic" set debuts almost 30 years after Newton-John made her
first appearance on the Billboard album chart. "If Not For You," titled
after the George Harrison/Bob Dylan-penned song, entered the week of Nov.
27, 1971, eventually reaching No. 158.

BENNY AND THE HITS: Almost 20 years after last recording together, Abba
continues to sell records around the world, even hitting No. 1 in countries
like the quartet's native Sweden and the U.K. Now, a member of Abba has the
No. 1 album in Sweden, with newly recorded material. Benny Andersson's
"Orkestra," on his own Mono Music label, jumps 5-1.

The set is mostly instrumental, and it's his first No. 1 album in Sweden
since Abba's "The Visitors" went to No. 1 in 1982. "Abba Gold" has sold 25
million copies worldwide, to date.

Thank you for visiting.
