I got this from arista website. This is in connection with what
Music Dude posted here on Dec. 14, 2000. I am not sure if it
applies to Regine but anyway i hope it would be of help.

How do I submit my demo tape?

ARISTA RECORDS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES :

The following are the policies and procedures for the submitting
materials. We do not accept unsolicited material from an artist or
songwriter directly. If you are one of the aforementioned, you must
be represented by a lawyer, manager or music publisher other than
yourself. Your representative must include a letter, to a specific
A&R person, on company letterhead when submitting your demo.
Also, it is crucial that the return address label on the outside of your
package indicates that it is coming to us from an attorney's office,
music publishing company or management firm. If not, the material
will be returned unopened. Do not send more than 4 songs of original
material. Press materials, lyric sheets and publicity photos are
always helpful and welcomed. If you are a songwriter, and are writing
with a specific Arista artist in mind, your letter should indicate
so. Be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope should your
material be rejected and you want it back; Arista is not responsible
for returning rejected materials. Please keep in mind that the type
of music you have will determine the correct A&R person to receive
materials, as we do listen to every solicited tape that comes in. We
hope this helps you, and should you meet the specific requirements,
please feel free to submit your material to us.
